“A Ryanite/ Xavierite shall hold the highest offices in the nations parliament starting from the Prime Minister”. This is the vision of the Chairman, Dr. A.F.Pinto. With this vision in mind St. Joseph’s High School, Kalamboli conducted an election to the school parliament through a secret ballot. The investiture ceremony which was held on 2nd July was indeed a “red letter day” for those who secured the highest number of votes in the election. Doing the honour of badging and giving away of scarves to the elected members was the chief guest Mr. Kishore Prasad Second Commandant, 102Bn, RAF/CRPF-Taloja.
Students enjoyed the wonderful Jodhpur trip from 16th Sept to 20th Sept. Places like Maharangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umed Bhavan Palace, Kayiana Lake were visited. Students took pleasure in village safari and camel safari. It was a very exciting experience and a memorable one .It was an inspiring adventurous, historical and educational trip.
Students of our school went to a camp of Yusuf Meharali Centre at Tara Village for two days. They had trekking, snake show, valley crossing.first aid training, rapling, and enjoyed campfire during this adventure.
St. Joseph’s High School & Junior College celebrated the environment week to make Navi Mumbai Clean and green. The celebration consisted of many activities like slogan writing, banner making, best out of waste, poetry writing competition. The G-12 group planted nearly 960 saplings in various parts of Kalamboli to ensure that the city would be green and fresh. The students participated with great enthusiasm.
The standard XII students gave a hearty welcome to their Juniors by organizing a cultural bonanza. It was a feast to the eyes to watch and enjoy the fun, laughter and blend of play and learning together.
‘Teenager’- a well known students magazine had organized a personality pageant for the teenage students.Our students Rishabh Hathi and Sharanya from Std. XI participated and were qualified for the final round.
Social Service Camp for std-X was arranged at Surat from 5th Nov to 8th Nov where 230 students participated in various competitions personality development programmes, and entertainment was also a part of this trip along with Social Service. A three day camp culminated with a grand personality pageant in which students from all the schools participated. More than 1000 students from many schools coming from every corner of the country stayed together, understood each other and developed friendship.
